Hotel vs B&B accommodation
What is the difference between hotels and bed and breakfast accommodation? It isn’t really a case of which is better, but which is best suited to your needs. Hotels are usually big establishments in city centres and bed and breakfast establishments are usually family homes often away from the city centres and in the suburbs.
Hotels are generally more expensive than bed and breakfast accommodation. The advantage of a hotel is that you can choose a level of luxury because hotels have a star rating. Be it a two star hotel or a five star hotel, you can expect a certain level of luxury. Hotels may be situated more centrally than a bed and breakfast and often found in the heart of a city.
Relax In An Airport Hotel To Properly Start Your Holiday
If youâ??re jetting off to the sun, youâ??ll want to make sure both your preparation on the lead up to your departure and the departure itself runs as smoothly as possible. However, with the inevitable rush that comes with making sure that you have all the necessary clothes, toiletries and proper paperwork for your trip, have you ever stopped to think about how youâ??ll make the trip to the airport?
For most people, itâ??s a simple matter of taking the car and driving there; but with flight times not always convenient, this course of action could involve a long drive to the airport in the early hours of the morning, leaving you and your entourage feeling tired and jaded even before the luggage is unloaded from the boot of the car. Add to that the wait to check-in and then again at the departure gate, then it can all add up to a miserable start to your holiday.
Very few people are at their best in the early morning, and this feeling can often be exacerbated if you have children; after all, kids are more likely to be feeling cranky when woken unexpectedly from their slumber in order to endure an early morning drive to the airport. But while they may fall asleep again en route, their irritability often rubs off on others and frayed tempers can continue long after the kids have nodded off again. However, the need to wake them at the end of the journey often kick-starts the irritability once more!
