There are many fascinating hill tribe villages amid lush verdant jungles to explore; and you can really get a feel for a completely different side to Thailand.

Of course, it can prove beneficial for anyone to take a break from the doom and gloom of the UK and a holiday in Thailand can offer an eye-opening experience, whilst allowing you to look after your pennies.
